relevant, timely and personal insights related to their electricity account including electricity usage
and power outage information. The appliance specific electricity usage profiles allow residential
customers to begin to understand where, when and how much electricity they are using and how
they can better manage their consumption. Comparisons to similar homes in the neighbourhood
provide residential customers with a benchmark for behavioural change.
